Attribute Control Patents (Class 358/1.9)
  • Patent number: 11997244
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes circuitry that acquires a colorimetric value for each of a plurality of patches on a first chart printed out by an image forming apparatus and read by a colorimeter. Each of the patches has a monochromatic color. The circuitry further acquires a maximum tone value previously set in accordance with a sheet, and converts each of the colorimetric value, the maximum tone value, and a color system value of a first target into a particular color value. The first target represents an ideal characteristic of the color system value corresponding to a tone value. The circuitry further determines, as a second target, a characteristic passing through a point determined by a color value corresponding to the maximum tone value. The characteristic is generated based on the color system value of the first target converted into the particular color value.

  • Patent number: 11935226
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes first, second, and third acquisition units, a setting unit, a calculation unit, and a processing unit. The first acquisition unit acquires information regarding a setting for inspecting an image. The second acquisition unit acquires first data that is data of a reference image representing a target print result. The third acquisition unit acquires second data that is data of a printed image to be inspected. The setting unit sets a comparison area including a pixel of interest in each of the reference image and the printed image based on the information and the first data. The pixels of interest correspond to an identical pixel position. The calculation unit calculates a density difference between the comparison areas based on the first data and the second data. The processing unit inspects the printed image based on the first data, the second data, and the density difference.

  • Patent number: 11924589
Abstract: Color filters are used for color images obtained using imaging devices such as conventional image sensors. Imaging elements with color filters are sold, and an appropriate combination of the imaging element and a lens or the like is incorporated in an electronic device. Only providing a color filter to overlap a light-receiving region of an image sensor reduces the amount of light reaching the light-receiving region. An imaging system of the present invention includes a solid-state imaging element without a color filter, a storage device, and a learning device. As a selection standard for reducing the amount of learning data, in an HSV color space, saturation is used, and selection is performed so that the saturation has optimal distribution. When colorization disclosed in this specification is performed, the colorization and object highlight processing can be performed at the same time.
