Abstract: A salon chair power pack comprising a body having multiple pockets on a front face with straps for attaching the invention to a stylist's chair. The invention further comprises a plurality of plugs, retention hooks, and an extendable male plug for the organization of cords associated with stylist tools which can be stored in the pockets. Preferably, the invention includes a plurality of female plugs so that multiple stylist tools can be used at once when styling a customer's hair. Alternatively, the power pack can be built into the seat back of the salon chair to form a power pack system.

Abstract: The reversibly mounted sliding surface extension tray disclosed herein may be reversibly mounted on a flat surface and may provide an extendable tray or shelf for increasing the storage space available to a user. The device may extend or retract, as desired, so as to make use of available free space beyond a countertop or other flat surface. The device may be reversibly mounted to a surface by a vacuum mechanism, such as suction cup devices, by an adhesive, such as glue or tape, or by any other appropriate mechanism. The reversibly mounted sliding surface extension tray may further comprise a motorized design that allows for powered extension or retraction of the tray component.

Abstract: A portable half bathroom is disclosed. The portable half bathroom may be in a compact condition or in an expanded condition. In the compact condition, the portable half bathroom looks like a regular cabinet. Collapsed and folded panels are attached to the cabinet. All side and back walls are racked on their relative sides of the cabinet when the portable half bathroom is not in use. In the expanded condition, the panels are unfolded and expanded to form an enclosure.

Abstract: A drawer system in which two integrated drawer systems are deployed, such that each said drawer system is equipped with two separate heavy duty runner systems, at opposed ninety degree, or other angle. Each drawer system with an intervening platform upon which the second set of runners is mounted, such that, as a result, each involved drawer is capable of both lateral and forward and backward movement, with the result that the forward movement, in example, of one drawer, can open a space for the lateral movement of the second drawer. The first drawer, having been moved forward, can now be moved laterally, while the second drawer can then be moved forward. The end result being that they both become simultaneously accessible to the operator, all with the result that previously unavailable or unreachable space is rendered readily accessible, as to the contents contained in the second drawer.

Abstract: We disclose a cosmetic box inspired by the traditional Asian design. The box comes equipped with electrical apparatus for drying and sterilizing make-up. A fan is mounted within the box. When the drawers are ajar, the fan blows air toward the user's face and hair. When the drawers are removed, the user may insert her hands into the drawer cavity to dry her nail polish. Ultra-violet light bulbs are also mounted within the box. The bulbs assist in the sterilization of nail polish as well as the contents of the box.

The positioning device includes a guiding seat connected pivotally to the support, a driving plate connected pivotally to the mirror-mounting unit, a sliding block, a movable member, a positioning rod, and a resilient member. The guiding seat includes an accommodating chamber and a plurality of positioning grooves. The driving plate and the sliding block are movable in the accommodating chamber. The positioning rod is disposed fixedly on the movable member. Engagement between the positioning rod and the positioning grooves is allowed with assistance of the resilient member during movement of the driving plate within the accommodating chamber from a rear limit position to a front limit position, and is prevented during movement of the driving plate within the accommodating chamber from the front limit position to the rear limit position.

The jewelry cabinet defines an interior space for holding jewelry items. A plurality of jewelry storage elements are attached within the interior space. In one embodiment, a stand is configured to receive the jewelry cabinet to hold the jewelry cabinet in an upright position so that the back wall of the jewelry cabinet forms an angle from the horizontal.

Abstract: A dishwasher includes a drawer which is slidably mounted in a frame and forms a washing chamber. A lid assembly is mounted to the frame for selectively sealing the washing chamber during a washing operation. A closing mechanism moves the lid assembly from a first or open position to a second or closed position that provides a water-tight seal during a washing operation. The dishwasher is further provided with a latching mechanism including a pivoting door front member, a locking member and a linking bar interconnecting the door front member with the locking member. Manipulation of the pivoting drawer front member causes the locking member to engage/disengage with the lid assembly. The latching mechanism further includes a locking bar and a micro-switch that combine to prevent operation of the dishwasher if the drawer is not properly positioned in the frame.

Abstract: Visual display monitors having a mirror providing a rear view are disclosed. The mirros include support structure to attach a reflective surface to the monitor such that the surface is rotatable while while maintaining a generally fixed orentation relative to the screen of the monitor. The mirror may include a case having front and rear portions rotatable relative to each other. The reflective surface may be rotatable within the front portion. Mirrors may be pivotally connected to monitors for some applications.

Abstract: A flat panel monitor mounting assembly including a frame for holding a monitor including facilities for allowing the monitor to be rotated from a horizontal position to a vertical position. The assembly includes facilities for allowing the monitor to be rotated about an axis perpendicular to the plane of the monitor so that the monitor can be viewed in either a horizontal viewing position or, alternatively a vertical viewing position. The assembly also includes facilities for tilting the flat panel monitor so that the panel can easily be viewed from any position. The assembly also includes facilities for locking the monitor in either the horizontal viewing position or vertical viewing position.

Abstract: A cheval mirror with concealed storage compartment. The device has a cabinet portion with a rear wall and perimeter side walls to define a space there within and an open front. A mirror door is attached to the cabinet portion with concealed hinges to movably cover the open front of the cabinet portion, thereby defining a mirrored storage compartment. The mirror door seats flush with the cabinet portion when closed, so that it appears integral therewith. The mirrored storage compartment is carried between two upright members extending from a stand portion. The mirrored storage compartment is pivotally attached to the upright members to permit the storage compartment to be tilted. A tilt adjustment control, separate from the pivoting points, is provided to permit the mirrored storage compartment to be adjustably tilted and retained in a plurality of different degrees of tilt relative to the upright members of the stand portion.

Abstract: A collapsible mirror-heater unit for assisting in the application of ostomy pads is disclosed. A dual-faced mirror is pivotally mounted in a frame to expose either face and a heater is also pivotally mounted on the frame to be located in either of a stored or operative position. The device may be collapsed into its frame to provide a compact, box-like unit for storage.

Abstract: An extending mirror which both swings out to space itself from its original position and also rotates about its mounting post has a crank mechanism which nests in a groove cut in the top of an upright panel which comprises one of the decorative members of a vanity, so that the mirror when in its home position does not reveal any of the extending mechanism, which comprises a double-ended crank, but when the mirror element is raised it can be swung rearwardly or forwardly on the crank to space it from other mirrors permanently mounted on the vanity so that the user may get side and rear views of his or her head.

Abstract: A modular cabinet system comprises a modular unit of a first rectangular cabinet, and a first standing mirror spaced from the cabinet and disposed in the plane of the back side of the rectangular cabinet. A first panel is connected to the standing mirror and to the rectangular cabinet for supporting the standing mirror. In addition a second standing mirror may be spaced from the first standing mirror and a second panel may be connected to these mirrors. A second rectangular cabinet is positioned with its back side adjacent the second panel and extending outward in the same direction as the first rectangular cabinet. Third and fourth rectangular cabinets may be connected into the system and extend outward in an opposite direction from the first and second cabinet. In addition, two mirrors associated with the third and fourth rectangular cabinets are provided adjacent the back surface of the first and second mirrors.

A swivel drawer is received in and extends from a side of the cabinet opposite from the mirror. The drawer extends out of the side and swivels around towards the front of the cabinet.

Abstract: Pivoting trays are carried on pivot posts. The trays include a storage recess in their upper surface. When the trays are pivoted from a stowed to an open position, the contents of the trays become visible and accessible. Storage recesses are also provided in the base and top members. Compartmented inserts from the storage recess into a selectable number of compartments are carried in the trays and are removable from the trays in their opened position.
