Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a sealed-edge pouch with a laminate composite stored therein. In some non-limiting embodiments or aspects the laminate composite is detached from a laminate composite web having a carrier film with substrates which are arranged thereon and are covered by means of a respective cover film. An intermediate body is supplied to the laminate composite web or to the laminate composite or is moulded into the carrier film such that the intermediate body or the intermediate bodies surrounds/surround all of the free surfaces of the substrate at least in regions. The laminate composite and all of the intermediate bodies are introduced between two packaging material webs. The packaging material webs are sealed to each other. Finally, the sealed-edge pouches are separated. A device for producing sealed-edge pouches and a sealed-edge pouch produced according to this method are also provided.

Abstract: A packaging unit for packaging pharmaceuticals into a pouch includes packaging equipment operable to form the pouch, a track configured to direct the pharmaceuticals toward the packaging equipment, and a receptacle coupled to the track upstream of the packaging equipment to receive the pharmaceuticals from the track. The receptacle includes a plunger. The pouch is formed around the plunger.

Abstract: A plurality of integrally interconnected wipes collectively define a web. The plurality of wipes includes a first wipe, a second wipe, and a third wipe. A first transverse intermittent cut line defines a right side major tie that connects the first wipe to the second wipe, and the right side major tie has a width. A second transverse intermittent cut line defines a left side major tie that connects the second wipe to the third wipe. In particular embodiments, the first wipe and the second wipe are connected to each other only within the right side of the web, and the second wipe and the third wipe are connected to each other only within the left side of the web. In certain embodiment, the wipes are also connected to each via minor ties that are transversely narrower than the major ties.

Abstract: This invention relates to a wipe for killing spores comprising an absorbent sheet holding an aqueous composition and a sealed package containing the absorbent sheet, wherein the aqueous composition comprises water, an antimicrobial agent and a peroxide. The invention also relates to a process for killing spores using the above-indicated wipe.

The base lid portion includes a rigid port surrounding a unitary dispensing partition extending in an x and z direction to the rigid port, the unitary dispensing partition having a dispensing slit formed therethrough. The unitary dispensing partition forms an arc extending a first depth into the interior of the container in a z-direction. The depth of the dispensing partition allows for the personal care article to be stored in a pop-up dispensing position with a larger portion of the personal care article extending from the dispensing slit. This allows for easier retrieval of the product by a consumer and less dispensing failures.

The cake or disk shape can expand when exposed to moisture such that the towel recovers to substantially the original dimensions and texture.

Abstract: Flexible, stable, and easily opened packages are disclosed. The package may be made from an outer highly flexible material defining a surface stable bag having a bottom four side walls and an opening portion. The opening portion may have a rigid reinforcing member attached to it. The rigid reinforcing member may be movable between a stable open and a stable closed configuration with one hand, allowing a user to open and close the package with one hand. Packages may be provided with moisture barrier properties to contain moisture containing personal articles, and dual bag configurations may be employed.

Abstract: A flexible sheet container is provided that permits a user to quickly and easily feed a leading sheet. The container has a base portion that defines a storage area and a top covering the base portion. The top includes an opening into the storage area through which individual flexible sheets are dispensed. A pair of opposing flaps is pivotally attached to the top at their first ends and each extends toward the dispensing opening with its second end. The complementary second ends of the flaps together further define the dispensing opening while in a dispensing position. The flaps pivot inward toward the storage area to provide access through the opening into the storage area. As such, to feed a leading flexible sheet, a user may rotate the flaps inward, grab a leading flexible sheet, and pull it through the opening. During dispensing, the flaps rotate outward and retain subsequent sheets.

Abstract: An openable and closable container includes a container body having a take-out opening, and an opening-closing lid provided on the container body swingably about a swing axis on a base end side of the lid, the lid opening and closing the take-out opening. Plate rubber (an elastic member) is provided between the contain body and the opening-closing lid. A packing member (an elastic sealing body) is attached to the rear surface of the opening-closing lid such that the packing member seals the take-out opening of the upper plate.

Abstract: A body washing system provides an integrated single-use package co-locating a moist towelette and a dry towelette, the latter sized and design to permit drying of an individual after applying the moist towelette to his or her body in a washing process. The compact size and availability of the dry towelette substantially increases at the availability of bathing systems to individuals to whom conventional bathing or showering is inaccessible.

Abstract: A portable rolled product containing a small roll of sheets, such as tissues or wet wipes, is particularly useful for uses outside the home. The roll of sheets is contained within a flexible package, such as a plastic film wrapper, having a roll housing portion and an extended dispensing portion or channel through which the user withdraws the product. After the desired amount of the sheets is withdrawn, the extended dispensing channel can be folded back around the roll housing portion of the package for storage until further use.

Within the stack, the first fold configuration is different than the second fold configuration. In one embodiment, the first side folded sheets were V-folded and the second side folded sheets were Z-folded. In another embodiment, the first side folded sheets were V-folded and the second side folded sheets were C-folded.

A substrate 54 is provided between the adhesive layer 53 and the surface of the film bag 3, and the substrate 54 is composed of a film having a higher compression strength than a film composing the film bag 53.

Abstract: A hydrogen peroxide point of use wetted wiper system includes a packaging with a first, a second, and a third compartment, wherein the separate compartments are mergable. Wipers are disposed in the third compartment. Disposed in the second compartment is dry urea hydrogen peroxide, isolated from the wipers. Disposed in the first compartment is a solvent, wherein the solvent is isolated from the wipers and the urea hydrogen peroxide. The first and second compartments can merge to form a unified compartment such that the solvent is combined with the urea hydrogen peroxide at a point of use to form liquid 6% hydrogen peroxide solution. The unified compartment then merges with the third compartment such that the liquid hydrogen peroxide wets the wipers. The liquid hydrogen peroxide concentration and amount is proportional to the wiper absorptive capacity, number, size, and degree of desired saturation.

Abstract: A dispenser, and associated method for producing such dispenser, for interfolded disposable sheets includes a dispensing container defining an interior volume sufficient for receipt of a clip of interfolded disposable sheets, the container including a first wall with a dispensing opening defined by a removable panel. At least a portion of an adhesive material is disposed at a location on the removable panel such that the adhesive is not exposed to the interior volume of the container in an adhesive state. A clip of interfolded disposable sheets is inserted into the interior volume of the container. After insertion of the clip, the adhesive material is exposed in an adhesive state to the interior volume of the container and contact is made between the adhesive and the uppermost sheet of the clip of interfolded sheets such that the removable panel is attached to the uppermost sheet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a travel pack containing a deodorant and a moistened cleansing cloth wrapped separately in a small waterproof foil package. The travel pack comprises a first side containing a deodorant contained in a suitable applicator and a second side containing a moistened cleansing cloth, and a separator preventing the contents of the first side from coming in contact with the contents of the second side. The travel pack is small enough to be conveniently carried in a pocket and can be used anytime a person needs to freshen up.

Abstract: A co-packaged product and containers for co-packaging two different substrates is disclosed. The co-packaged product comprises a first substrate wound into a roll having an interior space, and a second substrate is located within at least a portion of the interior space. In one embodiment, a paper towel roll has a wet wipe container located within the core of the paper towel.

Abstract: The present invention provides a discrete package for absorbent personal care articles. Provided by the present invention is a personal care product having a container component and an absorbent personal care product component. The container component has a top panel, a bottom panel, at least one side. Generally there are four side walls, a front side wall, a back side wall, a first side wall and a second side wall. These walls are connected in a manner such that the top panel is connected to the bottom panel by the front side wall, the back side wall, the first side wall and the second side wall; and the front side wall is connected to the back side wall by the first side wall and the second side wall. Each wall of the container has an inside surface and an exterior surface. The inside surface of each of the bottom panel, the front side wall, the back side wall, the first side wall and the second side wall define a chamber for holding at least one absorbent personal care article.

The graspable member is attached to a surface of the package in a manner enabling grasping and pulling of the graspable member to at least one of open the package and detach the package from the different article. Abstract: A container for housing a package includes a case made of a flexible sheet. The package is adhered to a frame around a dispensing opening of the container through a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The frame has a lid. When the lid is opened, wet sheets can be taken out of the package. Since the frame is adhered to the package around the dispensing opening, a simple fastener can be used for keeping the case in an unopened state.

The wipes are then ready for cleaning surfaces within an area.
